DURELL EXPANDS ENHANCED-OFFICER INITIATIVE

New tactical units are being developed for the citywide increase in aura-related incidents.

NEW EDEN — Public Security Director Marcus Durell announced an expansion of the Enhanced-Officer Initiative following a sustained increase in aura-related emergency calls across the city.

The program will establish specialized response units trained to operate around unstable resonance, damaged relic technology, and incidents involving unregistered aura expression. Officials said the units are intended to support ordinary precincts rather than replace them.

Civil-rights observers have requested public rules governing detention, force, medical evaluation, and the handling of unregistered residents. Durell said a formal operational directive will be released before the first expanded units enter service.

H.E.R. advises residents not to approach active resonance incidents. Witnesses should move to a stable structure, avoid unidentified quartz or relic material, and contact the nearest public safety relay.
